Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis is a complementary therapy that uses the power of suggestion to foster positive changes.  It can be used to positively change habits such as smoking, stress-related issues such as fears or phobias or even conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome.

There are different types of hypnotherapy which therapists can use to help address a wide range of issues from Cognitive Hypnotherapy to Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. The number of sessions required will vary and can last from just one session (normally in respect of smoking cessation) to a number of regular weekly sessions depending on the circumstances.

Hypnotherapy can be a safe form of therapy for both adults and children and in younger people be used to address exam stress, sleep problems and even low self-esteem.
