Bereavement Counselling

Bereavement counselling is provided by qualified healthcare professionals who provide talking therapies for clients who are grieving the loss of a loved one or other associated personal losses such as divorce.

Grief counselling can support clients through the various stages of bereavement and help them resume daily activiites.

Counsellors work directly with their clients to establish each set of individual needs and will work with you to develop a treatment plan. They may also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community support groups in order to provide a personalised and comprehensive network of support.

There are also a number of charities and voluntary organisations who offer bereavement counselling and support.  Click here to explore a range of charitable and voluntary services.
